NSG Group has set the goal of our new medium-term plan to 'to shift the company's phase and become vital in advancing a sustainable society'. We will contribute to the realisation of a sustainable society by addressing global environmental protection and social issues.

The NSG Group will continue its sustainability-related activities to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

The most critical challenge in our sustainability efforts is "decarbonization." Through the development of innovative technologies, such as hydrogen combustion, we are committed to significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions not only from the glass manufacturing process but also across the entire value chain in collaboration with all our stakeholders. We also contribute to addressing climate change by providing products that help promote energy conservation and renewable energy, such as high-insulation glass and solar energy glass.

In addition, we are addressing challenges related to natural capital, such as the conservation of biodiversity and the sustainable use of water resources. We will work to accurately identify risks and opportunities related to climate change and the natural environment, and strive to ensure transparent disclosure of information while taking international frameworks into account.

Under the management philosophy of "Respect others and unleashing their potential" which is one of the NSG Group's core values, we will continue to invest in "human resources," including talent development, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The health and safety of everyone involved in the Group's operations are a prerequisite for our business.

We will also promote respect for human rights and responsible procurement, and work toward sustainable value creation throughout our supply chain.

We support the United Nations Global Compact and the principles of the SDGs. Our sustainability goals are established based on the NSG Group's vision and the key issues that are important to our stakeholders.

We will continue to actively promote sustainability activities so that we can help our stakeholders solve environmental and social issues through safe and ethical business activities.
