NSG Group has set the goal of our new medium-term plan to 'to shift the company's phase and become vital in advancing a sustainable society'. We will contribute to the realisation of a sustainable society by addressing global environmental protection and social issues.

The most important issue in our group's sustainability activities is Decarbonization. Through the development of innovative technologies such as hydrogen combustion, we are working with our stakeholders to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the value chain, as well as from the glass manufacturing process. We will also contribute to solving climate change issues by providing glass products that contribute to energy conservation and energy creation, such as highly insulating glass and thin-film photovoltaic panels.

Based on our Core Value "Respect Others and Unleash their Potential", we are committed to invest in 'Human capital', including human resource development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion(DEI). We consider the health and safety of all people involved in our group's business to be a prerequisite for our operations.

We support the United Nations Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals. Our sustainability goals are based on the vision of our group and the key issues of our stakeholders.

Good corporate governance is the foundation of the NSG Group's sustainable development. We have established the "NSG Group Corporate Governance Guidelines" in support of the principles of the "Corporate Governance Code" of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

We will continue to actively promote sustainability activities so that we can help our stakeholders solve environmental and social issues through safe and ethical business activities.
