Today (30th November, 2007) there was an article by a newspaper stating that Nippon Sheet Glass Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) is intending to sell a subsidiary.
However, the article is not based on any public announcement made by the Company.
While the Company has been considering every possibility and option in its all business areas to improve profit performance including structural reforms, withdrawals through divesture, and business alliances, the Company confirms that at this time it has made no decision on this matter.
