Consecutive Inclusion in “FTSE Blossom Japan Index” and “FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index”

NSG Group is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Index (*1) for the consecutive 4 years since 2021, and also the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index (*2) for 3 consecutive years since 2022, both of which are indices of Japanese companies that demonstrate outstanding Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance.

Created by the global index and data provider FTSE Russell, the FTSE Blossom Japan Index is designed as an industry neutral benchmark that reflects the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices in Japan. The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index is designed as a sector neutral benchmark that reflects the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices in Japan.

Both indices are used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products. In addition, they have been adopted as the ESG passive investment indices by the Government Pension Investment Fund of Japan (GPIF), which manages Japan's public pension funds.
