Ultrafine SELFOC® Lens

This product is designed to support the shift to all-optical networks for communication infrastructure, which is being considered in the Beyond 5G era, where explosive growth in communication volume and network-connected devices is expected. By using ultrafine SELFOC® Lens, with the same diameter as that of optical fibers, will be able to make various devices that connect optical fibers and various terminals smaller, simpler and make them achieve high performance. Along with the spread of all-optical networks, it will make a significant contribution as an energy-saving measure.

Imprinted Products

NSG's proprietary sol-gel glass and organic-inorganic hybrid materials are used to produce optical elements with excellent durability against heat and high output light. Using nanoimprint technology, optical elements such as micro lens arrays (MLA), diffusers, and diffractive optical elements (DOE) can be produced with high precision and stability. It is also possible to process optical elements directly anywhere on semiconductor wafers or glass substrates.
