Glass Mat

Our Glass mats are made of selected glass fibers having excellent acid resistance. The fiber are oriented in the verticle direction enabling the electrolyte to permeate through the Glass Mat and allow hydrogen gas to escape.

When combined with a separator during assembly, the glass mat can be compressed onto the active material, preventing the active materials on positive plate with elongation and prevent from shedding. Because of this function, the life time of battery can be dramatically improved.

  • Glass Mats are most suitable for long life required battery especially for heavy-duty applications such as automobile. Moreover it has following characteristics.
  • Prevent active materials from shedding from the positive plate.
    (This function can be the maxised with the use of our Pulp separators)
  • Preventing oxidation by placing Glass Mats against positive plate.
  • The long glass fibers exhibit high elongation, smooth surface and easy processing.

Applications

Automobiles, motorcycle, industries.

Our Glass Mats can be used with a combination of our Pulp Separators, as well as, combination with PVC, Linter and PE separators.
