Date
11 Jun 2014

The NSG Group’s new ultra thin glass float line at NSG Vietnam Glass Ltd, which was announced on 7 April 2014, has yesterday been lit up for the first time.

The new line will commence production from the second half of this fiscal year, which brings the number of the Group's float lines dedicated to Ultra Fine Flat glass (UFF) to two (one in Japan and one in Vietnam).

The NSG Group is the world-leading supplier of ultra thin glass for small LCD applications. NSG UFF products (soda lime composition) are increasingly being used in the growing touch panel market and as cover glass in computers and mobile devices. The Group will continue to meet our global customer’s needs by fully utilizing our technological leadership and development capability in these fast-growing segments.
