IWD2022 Activities across the Group to #BreakTheBias (Posted in Facebook)

At NSG Group, we are proud of the role we play in breaking bias and bringing about a fairer more inclusive and gender equality world.

Various initiatives have been taken across the Group worldwide to break the bias. Let us see some of the activities we have done this month to celebrate International Women's Day.

Virtual Discussions on March 8 : "Creating a company in which women shine"

The aim of the event was to profile the careers of some of the senior females in the Company to discuss their careers and inspire others. The event was very popular with high participation from all regions across the globe.

Women's Career Talk on March 8 - Japan

40 women from NSG Japan attended the online session focusing on their careers.

R&D Itami site manager, who can be a good role model for female managers in Japan had a presentation to show her career and life events during her 30 years' services. This session helped women to be positive at their future careers.

Lighting up our facilities with "Purple" as strong signal for #BreaktheBias - Italy

Glass pyramids located at NSG Group's Automotive Manufacturing site in San Salvo, Italy and part of the buildings that are visible from outside were lit up with purple color to show a strong signal to women through out this month.

"The Glass Garden" - Poland

40 women from the Group took part in the botanical workshops "Glass Gardens" organized with the city council.

Apart from that, reflecting to current geopolitics situations our team in Poland fundraise to provide hygiene products and feminine items for refugees from Ukraine, mainly women and children.

Support a local women's shelter with a donation - Germany

Our team from Automotive AGR, Germany support local women's shelter with donation through selling a breakfast snack to employees. The sales and the donation from employees will be contributed to the women's shelter.

The women's shelter is a place of refuge for physically and mentally abused women and their children. It is a safe place where they will find new strength, courage and confidence to plan their future.
